Irina Heim

Irina was educated in Moscow, Russia, where she gained a Diploma in Chemistry from Moscow State University and a Masters in Economics from the Financial University at the Government of the Russian Federation.

Irina made a career as the Finance Director in a global IT consulting company, where she supervised the financial side of IT projects with oil and gas companies such as Rosneft, Lukoil, KazMunayGas and SABIC. In 2008, Irina got an assignment at the headquarters and moved to Germany. She has been working in managerial positions within the IT consulting industry for the past 10 years.

Recently Irina has earned her Master of Arts in Management from Henley Business School, University of Reading (UK), where her Master’s dissertation was about subsidiary performance in multinational corporations. Irina’s academic interests include international business, corporate strategy and organisational performance. Currently, Irina is working on her doctoral research related to local content development in the oil and gas industry in Kazakhstan and Russia.
