Dr. Dina Azhgaliyeva joined the Henley Business School in October 2015 as a Research Fellow. Prior to joining Henley, Dina was an Economics Teaching Fellow at the University College London. Previously she was a Teaching Assistant at the University of Essex. She also worked as a chief specialist at the Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan. Dina has five years experience of teaching economics in British Universities and five years of working in Government. She holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Essex. Dina holds a fellow of Higher Education Academy since 2015.
Dina’s research interests lie in local content policy in Kazakhstan, oil revenue management, sovereign wealth funds. Currently Dina is doing research on the economic impact of local content policy in Kazakhstan.
